First Step Act: Risk Assessment and Earned Release Credits
The first ‘book’ below is the federal Bureau of Prisons PATTERN survey to assess a persons ‘risk of recidivism’.
The survey is not available on this page, but the scoring tool is: https://www.bop.gov/inmates/fsa/pattern.jsp
The second ‘book’ is the federal Bureau of Prisons First Step Act Approved Programs, the activities that people can engage in to accrue Earned-Release Credits.
The web page for that document is here: 2023 First Step Act Approved Programs Guide: https://www.bop.gov/inmates/fsa/docs/fsa_guide_eng_2023.pdf
